Dr. Nangeroni is a board certified general surgeon and Director of Robotic surgery at Southern Ocean Medical Center. Dr. Nangeroni earned his bachelor’s degree in neuroscience at Muhlenberg College and proceeded to the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine for his medical degree. He then completed his general surgery residency at Jefferson South Jersey where he was selected to be Chief Resident. Dr. Nangeroni joined the practice in 2018 and has quickly established himself as an integral part of Southern Ocean Medical Center.
Southern Ocean Medical center acquired the DaVinci Xi Robotic Surgery Platform in August 2021 and Dr. Nangeroni has already completed over 200 robotic surgeries. Dr. Nangeroni performs a wide variety of minimally invasive and robotic surgeries including sleeve gastrectomy, gastric bypass, hernia repairs (inguinal, ventral, incisional, hiatal, femoral, hiatal), colon resections, gallbladder surgery.
